Guidelines
The Brisbane Vintage Guitar show is an event that is focused on American Vintage. There are always exceptions and below are examples of the type of equipment the show will accomodate.
Custom shop and Master built.
Japanese and American vintage reissue.
Player grade vintage.
Australian and UK vintage such as Maton, Burns, Orange and Vox.
Pawn shop guitars and amps such as Danelectro, Silvertone and Supro.
Boutique guitars and amplifiers such as Santa Cruz, Matchless, Collings, Victoria Amps and Magnatone.
If you are uncertain about your instruments suitability we encourage you to contact us prior to the event.
Costs
Trestle tables will be available at a cost of $400 for anyone exhibiting over the 2 days or $240 for 1 day. There will be no admission fee charged for exhibitors.
There will be a limited number of tables with power available by request.
For those attending who are non stall holders 1 instrument is included in the general admission ticket and there is a limit of 2 instruments. If you bring a second instrument there will be an additional charge of $10.
There will not be a space to display your instrument however there will be areas where buyers can inspect and try out guitars. We encourage you to bring printed photos and there will be an area to display pictures of your instruments so buyers can easily see what is on offer.
All guitars will need to be registered on entry.
Transaction Guidelines
We strongly encourage you to authenticate your item accurately with photographs both externally and internally.
Transactions are by private agreement.
Transactions are cashless, there will be no cash onsite. We recommend Direct Transfer, use of reputable payment platforms or credit card.
The show is not responsible for the authenticity or condition of items sold.
Appraisals will be available from a respected luthier at a cost.
The show is not responsible for any damage incurred to instruments during the show. Exhibitors and sellers must supervise their instruments at all times.
